  • Excludes Rental of Bicycles which is at an additional rental cost of $25 per bicycle (Subject to Change) on a first-come-first-serve basis and is limited to 600 bicycles only.

Event Regulations

General

  • The MILO®- MOE Youth Triathlon is organised in accordance to the event regulations set by the Organisers - Ministry of Education and MILO®.
  • The Organisers reserve the right to use photographs, motion picture, recording, or any other record of this race and its participants for any legitimate purpose, including commercial advertising.
  • The Organisers reserve the right to add and amend the event regulations without prior notification.
  • Completion of the online registration form confirms the Participant's agreement to abide by the relevant rules and regulations of MILO®- MOE Youth Triathlon.
  • In the event of bad weather, the Organiser reserves the right to delay the commencement of the event, shorten the event or modify the course. However, should bad weather persist, the Organiser reserves the right to cancel the event without any registration fee refund.
  • Please check the event website regularly for updates.

Event Entry

  • Participants must seek parental or guardian consent before entering the event.
  • Participants are only allowed to take part in one of the event categories.
  • Registration will not be accepted on race day.
  • Registration once confirmed, is non-transferable.
  • Once the registration has been confirmed, there will be no refund of the fee to Participants who, without valid reasons and the submission of supporting documents, decide not to take part.
  • Registration is completed once it is approved by the teacher-in-charge with full payment of registration fee.
  • There will be no refund if the Event is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • The Organisers reserve the right to close registration before the said closing date should participation reaches its capacity before the specified date.
  • The Organisers reserve the right to cancel or postpone the event without any prior notification.

Event

  • Whilst every reasonable precaution will be taken by the Organisers to ensure participants' safety, please note that the Organisers shall not be liable for any loss and/or damage to participants and/or their belongings, whether personal or otherwise, and howsoever arising.
  • The Organisers reserve the right to remove any Participant deemed physically incapable (i.e. severe physical harm) of continuing the race.
  • All Participants who successfully complete the event will be awarded a Finisher's Medal at the Finish Line.
  • All Participants who successfully complete the race will be awarded a Finisher's Certificate, which will be sent out to schools for distribution via the Teachers-in-Charge.

Swimming

  • Swimsuits must be worn.
  • All swimmers must wear the swim caps provided by the Organisers.
  • Swim goggles may be worn.
  • Fins, paddles, pool buoys, snorkels or any other swimming aids are not allowed.
  • Wet suits are not allowed.
  • No persons other than the Participants and Officials are permitted in the swimming area.
  • Swimmers in difficulty should signal to the lifeguards/kayakers for assistance.

Running

  • Participants must wear the assigned Number Tag on his/her chest. The form on the reverse side of your Number Tag must be completed in full and accurately.
  • Runners must run on the designated path for the entire route.

Cycling

  • All cyclists must wear helmets.
  • The helmet must be worn before the cyclist remove his/her bicycle from the bicycle rack and has to stay on the cyclist's head until he/she has placed his/her bicycle back securely at the allocated spot on the bicycle rack.
