All participants will be entitled to the SwimSafer Open Water Swim Clinics.

For Local Students

• Registration for the Clinic will be done via your Teacher-in-Charge upon confirmation of your registration and collection of registration fee
• The Teacher-in-Charge who decides to register the participants for the Swim Clinics will have to select the preferred date and time for the session after approval of participants' registrations.

For International Students and Family Relay

• A confirmation email will be sent to you upon confirmation of your registration and collection of registration fee.
• Please select your preferred date and time for the session upon receiving your confirmation email.

Objectives of Open Water Swim Clinics

• Getting familiar with open water swimming.
• Basic open water and group swimming, entry, exit and sighting practice.
• Emphasis on enjoying triathlon in a friendly and encouraging atmosphere.

Participants will also learn about the unique risks and dangers present in open water as compared to swimming in a pool such as uneven surfaces, river currents, sea undertow and the effects of changing weather.

Schedule

Venue: East Coast Park (Carpark F2)

Duration: 45mins per session

Participants will be required to wear their swim trunks/suit and swim cap. Use of goggles is encouraged.

Instructors

The Open Water Swim Clinic will be conducted by trained instructors, who have completed the SwimSafer Open Water Instructor Course and have at least obtained a Bronze Cross award in life saving.

Terms & Conditions

• For safety reasons, the number of participants during each training sessions will be limited.
• Registration for the Swim Clinics will be closed 3 days before the event or or when capacity of 200 pax. per day is reached.
• Registration slots are strictly non-transferable, unless otherwise stated by the organiser.
